Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) has established the Artificial Intelligence Leadership Excellence Centre (AI-LEAD UTeM) which is the first in the country.
AI-LEAD UTeM functions as a think tank and expert reference center at the national, regional and global levels that will carry out training and development activities, research, consulting, policy and governance development, knowledge transfer related to leadership in the era of artificial intelligence in line with the aspirations of MADANI Malaysia, the UTeM Strategic Plan 2026–2030 as well as national and industry needs.
AI-LEAD UTeM has started its operations since the end of last February and its development has been through 3 phases.
Phase 1
Establishment of the centre, appointment of management, development of policy & strategic plan
Phase 2
Implementation of training, research, consultation & industry collaboration
Phase 3
Certification, internationalization, revenue generation and KPI consolidation
